d&rsquo;automne avait favoris\u00e9 le choix d&rsquo;aller marcher aux alentours de Brennes pour trente cinq de nos adh\u00e9rents.<\/p><p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Apres avoir pris la direction de la voie verte construite sur l&rsquo;ancienne voie de chemin de fer Langres Beneuve, Cette ligne avant l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e de l&rsquo;automobile\u00a0 a d\u00e9senclav\u00e9 le secteur d&rsquo;Auberive et le Chatillonnais;Elle permettait\u00a0 d&rsquo;assurer le transport des voyageurs vers Langres ou Ch\u00e2tillon ainsi que le transport des grumes. La ligne de transport a \u00e9t\u00e9 ferm\u00e9e au 1er d\u00e9cembre 1963.<\/p><p>\u00a0\u00a0 En 1999 les \u00e9tudes sont lanc\u00e9es pour l\u2019am\u00e9nagement de cette ancienne voie en voie verte de Langres au pied de la colliniere jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 Flagey. Celle-ci n&rsquo;a pu \u00eatre prolong\u00e9e\u00a0 au del\u00e0 vers Auberive car les terrains occup\u00e9s par la ligne de chemin de fer avait \u00e9t\u00e9 vendue aux particuliers. N\u00e9anmoins le prolongement vers le parc National des for\u00eats se trouve toujours en gestation.<\/p><p>La commune de Brennes est travers\u00e9e par la ligne de partage des eaux\u00a0 entre les regions de la Seine vers la manche et le bassin versant Rhone M\u00e9dit\u00e9rann\u00e9e avec le\u00a0 ruisseau de Brennes qui va se d\u00e9verser dans le Vallinot et le lac de Villegusien.\u00a0<\/p><p>L&rsquo;origine du nom de la commune serait d&rsquo;origine celtique qui signifierait\u00a0 chef Gaulois ( Brennus ).\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"color:
